Purchase Agreement

By purchasing our laundry detergent ingredient pack, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Product Description: You are purchasing a RCOONA ingredient pack, containing Sodium Carbonate.

2. Instructions: You acknowledge that you have received instructions on how to use the ingredients to create homemade laundry detergent.

3. DIY Responsibility: You understand that the creation of laundry detergent involves mixing the ingredients with water and that you are responsible for following the provided instructions.

4. No Liability: We are not responsible for any adverse outcomes or damages resulting from the use of our product or the creation of homemade laundry detergent. (Wear chemical mask, gloves and safety glasses.) (Do not open around children or pets.)

5. Intellectual Property: You agree that our product and the accompanying instructions are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell our product or instructions without our prior written consent.

6. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Oklahoma.

7. Hold Harmless: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Terah Bowden and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including, but not limited to, attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of our product or the creation of homemade laundry detergent.

8. Chargebacks: In the event of a chargeback initiated by the customer, we reserve the right to investigate the matter and take appropriate action, which may include contacting the customer to resolve the issue. If the chargeback is deemed to be fraudulent or unauthorized, we may seek legal remedies, including but not limited to, recovering any losses incurred as a result of the chargeback." 

Shipping Policy

Continental United States Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time
All online orders sales Monday-Friday is processed and shipped next day, all online order sales Sunday-Saturday are processed and shipped on Tuesday's, Orders are not processed or shipped on holidays.  If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we will contact you via email or phone.

Shipping rates and delivery estimates
All orders are sent USPS, Overnight delivery is not available.
Customer responsible for shipping fees on returns.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses
Our Online Store ships to addresses within the US, US Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. No tracking numbers available for first class mail.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Soapsecret.com is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and other costs).

Damages
We are not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you
received your order damaged, please file a claim with the shipment carrier. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim with carrier.

International Shipping Policy
We currently do not ship outside the continental US.


Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery
We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure its recognized as a valid address by the USPS.

If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be canceled and refunded.

We will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.

Missing or Stolen Shipments
If you didn’t receive your order, but the shipping carrier has reported that it was delivered, please let us know as soon as possible:

We will file a claim with the shipping carrier. File a police report with local law enforcement, send a copy of police report. We will replace or refund your order when the investigation is complete. Allow up to 21 days for the investigation.

Product Return Policy

What is your Returns Policy?

We want to make sure returns are as easy as possible to do, but if you need more information on our Returns Policy, how to returns or the process then scroll down.

Returning Unwanted Items
We get it, sometimes something just doesn't work for you, and you want your money back. As long as an item is still in its original condition, and in unopen packaging, we accept returns for free, subject to the rules below, which includes rules around fair use. None of these rules affect your statutory rights.

If you return an item within 30 days of the item being delivered to you or available for collection, we'll give you a full refund by way of the original payment method. Except for the following, the item is no longer in new condition, the item original packaging is open/torn, there will be an up to 25% restocking fee and customer is responsible for all shipping fees.

We aim to refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item into our warehouse. If you request a refund for an item during the above time frames but you can't return it to us for some reason, please get in touch - but any refund will be at our discretion.

After that?
We don't accept returns for unwanted items after the relevant returns period above. If you try to make a return, you agree to have your item(s) destroyed.

Finial Sale
Items marked Final Sale have been heavily discounted and are not eligible for returns, exchanges or refunds, other than in exceptional circumstances. This does not affect your statutory rights.


Responsibilities
Returned items are your responsibility until they reach us, so make sure they're packed up properly and so they can't get damaged on the way!
As the package remains your responsibility until it arrives back with us, ensure that you get proof of postage (customer responsible for return label) in case you need to contact us about your return. We're not responsible for any items that are returned to us by mistake (it happens!). If we're able to locate the items (it's not always possible) and you'd like these returned to you, you will be responsible for the delivery cost.

Fair use
If we notice an unusual pattern of returns activity that doesn't sit right: e.g. we suspect someone is actually wearing their purchases and then returning them, ordering and returning loads - way, more than even the most loyal customer would order, or the items returned don't match what you ordered - then we might have to deactivate the account and any associated accounts. If this happens to you and you think we've made a mistake, please get in touch with Customer Care and we'll be happy to discuss it with you.

Return by Mail
If your account has been deactivated and you need to make a valid return, contact Customer Care. They'll give you the correct mailing address for your zone & a return number although you'll be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

Please note, we reserve the right to take legal action against you if the items you return don't match what you ordered.

Exchange Item(s)
We don't offer exchanges on orders- if you would like a different size or color, please return your unwanted item and place a new online order.
